The Hoya 46mm 80A Conversion HMC (Multi-Coated) is a colour conversion filter designed for film photographers working with daylight-balanced film under tungsten or artificial lighting. This blue filter corrects the warm, yellowish colour cast that occurs when using daylight film indoors with traditional incandescent bulbs, adding blue to the exposure to match the scene to your film's white balance. The HMC multi-coating minimises reflections at filter surfaces to reduce flare and ghosting whilst maintaining over 97% light transmission, ensuring sharp contrast and well-balanced colour.
