KelatoLYTE Electrolyte Replacer for Horses

KelatoLYTE is the ultimate electrolyte replacer. It has been scientifically formulated to mimic the composition of horse sweat, so whatever is lost in sweat through work or travel is immediately replaced. KelatoLYTE provides the optimal balance of sodium, chloride, potassium and magnesium with minimal glucose “filler” that can compromise the electrolyte composition of other electrolyte replacers. KelatoLYTE is ideal for trainers, as it does not contain alkalising agents that can contravene the rules of racing.

KelatoLYTE™s balanced formulation more closely mimics the actual composition of a horses sweat making it extremely effective at helping to prevent poor performance due to sweat loss.

Individual horses sweat differently under differing work loads and climates. KelatoLYTE™s formulation and feeding directions are directly related to the amount of sweat lost, taking into account both the amount of work done and the climate. This means that you can ensure you are correctly replacing your horses sweat loss no matter what the climate. The addition of glucose in the KelatoLYTE formulation improves the uptake of the essential electrolytes into the gut (stomach) to quickly help prevent dehydration.

To also help maximise electrolyte uptake, it is advisable to split the daily KelatoLYTE dosage into more than one feed (eg. half the daily dose in the morning and half in the evening). The apple flavouring in KelatoLYTE makes it very palatable.

KelatoLYTE can also be used as a drench.

KelatoLYTE contains no bicarbonates and does not contravene the rules of racing.
