ER70S-2 TIG Welding Rods are a micro-alloyed welding rod for GTAW (TIG) welding of unalloyed steels by using Argon shielding gas. Due to its Ti and Al micro-alloy contents, particularly suitable for single-pass welding of galvanized, pre-painted, rusty and dirty steels, welding low alloy steels in pipe-lines, boilers and tank construction. Suitable also welding in thin metal plates and repair welds.
Micro-Alloyed Composition: Designed for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) of unalloyed steels with Argon shielding gas.
Versatile Applications: Ideal for single-pass welding of various steels including galvanized, pre-painted, rusty, and dirty steels. Also suitable for low alloy steels in pipelines, boilers, tanks, thin metal plates, and repair welds.
Ti and Al Micro-Alloy Contents: Contains Titanium (Ti) and Aluminum (Al) micro-alloys for enhanced performance in challenging welding conditions.
