Directions for Use:Use 1 bag of Trough Rocks per 200L of water.1. Trough Rocks keep clean water clean, they do not clean dirty water. It is best to empty and clean your trough before use.2.Once your trough is clean. Remove tag from the Trough Rocks bag and set aside. Place the entire Trough Rock bag fully submerged into the water. That's it!3. Set a reminder in your diary for 4 months time. As the rocks are natural they lose their charge over time and need replacing.

How do Trough Rocks work?Being a paramagnetic rock, a simple ion exchange occurs when the rock is placed in water. Free molecules bond to the rock removing them from the water source. This paramagnetism inhibits the growth and distribution of algae and bacteria throughout the water. You'll find in the peak of summer the algae may still grow, but due to the ionic charge, will line the bottom and sides of the trough. The water will still be clean for your animals to drink.
