Description
The Olympus 150-400mm f4.5 TC1.25x IS Pro lens is perfect for sports and wildlife applications with Micro Four Thirds camera, with its lengthy zoom range being bolstered by the built-in 1.25x teleconverter.
All told, this telephoto zoom lens from Olympus delivers an astonishing 300-1000mm equivalent zoom range - there is not much imaginable that this lens can't competently zoom in on and frame satisfactorily.
The f4.5 maximum aperture is great for depth of field purposes, while image stabilisation is included to reduce the appearance of blur - quite remarkably, you can leave the tripod behind for much of your shooting with this lens.
A premium optical has designed in order to produce consistent levels of sharpness throughout the extensive range of the Olympus ED 150-400mm lens. This includes a whopping 28 elements in 18 groups. This Olympus lens is also well made physically, with dust, splash and freeze-proof qualities allowing the lens to be used extensively in outdoor conditions. It is the perfect shooting partner for the equally tough Olympus OM-1 MKII. Despite being physically tough, this lens is not large and heavy - it measures just 12.4 inches and weighs in at under 2KG.
Other key features
- Internal focus - lens remains compact during use
