The NiSi 100x150mm Nano IR Soft Graduated Neutral Density Filter is a rectangular graduated filter designed to darken specific areas of an image--such as bright skies--while allowing for normal, unaffected exposure in other regions. The filter features a soft-edged line of transition that tapers gradually from dense to clear, making it ideal for landscape photography where trees, buildings, mountains and other elements protrude into the skyline. Constructed from high-quality optical glass with NiSi Optical Nano Coating on both sides, this ND8 filter delivers a 3-stop reduction in light whilst maintaining true-to-life colour. The infrared protection coating layer eliminates unwanted infrared light to prevent colour casts when shooting at small apertures.
