Description
Increase your Micro Four Thirds Camera's ability to capture distant subjects with the help of the OM MC-20 Teleconverter. This high-quality converter provides a 2x increase of the magnification of compatible Olympus MFT lenses while allowing them to retain similar image quality. It is a relatively compact and lightweight piece of gear, so this increased usability does not come with a sacrifice of the compactness of your kit.
The nine elements used in the optical design, as well as the application of Olympus' ZERO coating provides consistently excellent image quality, while physically the Olympus MC-20 teleconverter is weather-sealed to allow competent outdoor usage. Electronic communication is maintained between your camera and lens, which means Autofocus and Image Stabilisation is still available and effective.
As with all teleconverters, the use of this product does result in a loss of light. In this case, the loss is 2-stops, which means if your lens's maximum aperture is f2.8, it will be 5.6 when using the teleconverter, and so on.
