The OM System TG-7 is the latest in a line of high-quality waterproof and shockproof digital cameras. This camera is made tough, with such eye-catching features as 15m waterproof, 2.1m shockproof, -10° freezeproof and crushproof to 100kg. As well as this, this waterproof camera is capable of extraordinary image quality, from 12MP stills to 4K video recordings. A versatile 4x optical zoom can be found at the front of this camera, with a maximum aperture of f2.0, which allows the camera to succeed in dim conditions, such as underwater. Take the TG-7 to even greater depths The OM System TG-7 may be able to go to a great depth of 15m without a housing, but pairing this camera with the separately available PT-059 housing allows you to use the camera down to 45m. This camera also includes a field sensor system, with which it can record location and environmental data, for an improved user experience. RAW recording & Close-Up Prowess To help you produce images with the most detail and the best overall quality, the TG-7 can record images in RAW image format, which allows for more advanced tweaking during editing. The versatile lens of this camera can focus as close as 1cm and a maximum image magnification of 7x, so it is perfect for macro-styled framing, both above and below the surface of the water. Microscope mode The OM System TG-7 can use its macro capabilities to launch its own microscope mode. In microscope control mode users can easily switch between 1x, 2x and 4x magnification, while the rear LCD monitor allows for up to 44.4x subject magnification. Focus Stacking This camera offers a focus stacking mode, in which the focus position can shift with multiple images captured (choose between 3 to 10) - these are then merged together to produce an image with remarkable depth of field. Vertical Video, Pro Capture mode & more The OM System TG-7 is better suited than any tough model before to suit the needs of a broader user base. The vertical video function produces images that are quicker and easier to share on social media, so content creators will be pleased. Pro capture mode begins recording 0.5 seconds prior to pressing the shutter completely, and proceeds to capture images sequentially at up to 10fps - no subject can escape! Other highlights of the TG-7 include interval shooting and a built-in time-lapse movie option.
