Unlike conventional straighteners, the Dyson Airstrait Straightener Ceramic Pink / Rose Gold 453965-01 doesn’t use hot plates. By styling with airflow alone for no heat damage, hair is left to look and feel healthier, helping to maintain its natural strength. A 13 blade impeller powered by the Dyson Hyperdymium motor powerfully propels 11.9 litres of air per second through the device for fast, powerful drying and styling. Glass bead thermistors located in the device’s arms regulate airflow temperature up to 16 times per second, maintaining and increasing hair’s natural shine. By combining two steps into one, the Dyson Airstrait dryer and straightener can save up to an hour each week on a styling routine. It projects airflow downwards at a 45 degree angle, creating just the right amount of tension to achieve a smooth end style - reducing unwanted frizz and flyaways. The Dyson Airstrait dryer and straightener senses when there’s hair between its arms, automatically decreasing airflow when there isn’t for quieter, more efficient styling. After three seconds of inactivity the device will automatically pause airflow - simply move it to restart a session.
