Coccivet

Coccivet is a safe and effective Coccidiosis treatment for use in pigeons and ornamental birds. With a dual active formulation Coccivet safely and efficiently clears infection over a 7-day course of treatment. Coccidiosis can result in nutrient malabsorption, dehydration, and blood loss, and make the bird susceptible to secondary infections. Coccivet has much better activity against parasites than sulphur treatments and may be prepared as a flock dose for large numbers of birds or singular and small aviary dose.

When treating for coccidiosis it is important to thoroughly clean all aviaries and environments, using a disinfectant such as Vetafarm Avicare, at the same time to help prevent reinfection. Coccivet should not be mixed with other products.
