On August 2, 1971, a Bulova chronograph was worn on the moon, designed to withstand the harsh lunar environment. The updated Lunar Pilot 96K115 Chronograph continues this legacy, featuring Bulova's exclusive high-precision quartz movement. This 43.5mm silver-tone 316L stainless steel polished case offers a bold, dynamic look, with chronograph pushers and a crown featuring the signature Bulova tuning fork logo, positioned at 3 o'clock.

Under the flat sapphire crystal, the six-hand chronograph dial stands out with a red and silver "panda" design, inspired by the "blood moon" during a total lunar eclipse. A contrasting silver-white tachymeter ring surrounds the dial, which also features the retro Bulova logo. The slim hands and applied markers are treated with luminous material for excellent legibility in low light. The recessed, circular sub-dials display a 1/20 chronograph seconds counter at 3 o'clock, running seconds at 6 o'clock, and a 60-minute chronograph counter at 9 o'clock.
