GalMax NPR Gloss Black Galvanising Paint

Protect, restore and finish metal surfaces with GalMax NPR Gloss Black Galvanising Paint. This durable, direct-to-metal coating provides corrosion protection with no primer required for many general applications, leaving a smooth, gloss black, rust-resistant finish.

Suitable for maintaining damaged or weathered galvanised metal and protecting steel and iron structures, GalMax NPR offers excellent adhesion to most metals. It can also be applied to compatible concrete and ceramic surfaces in interior or exterior environments.

For added long-term protection on fresh welds or in coastal and highly corrosive environments, apply GalMax 90, GalMax 93 or a suitable zinc oxide primer before coating.

Application Instructions

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from grease, dirt and other contaminants. Remove loose coatings, scale and rust as thoroughly as possible. Do not apply over loose or unsound surfaces, and do not use acidic rust converters or removers before application.

Aerosol: Shake the inverted can thoroughly for at least one minute and continue shaking regularly during use. Hold approximately 250–300mm from the surface and apply several light, even coats a few minutes apart. After use, invert the can and spray briefly to clear the nozzle.

Bulk liquid: Stir thoroughly for approximately five minutes before use and occasionally during application. Apply two coats by brush, roller or suitable spray equipment for optimum protection.
