Description
Designed and engineered with Sigma's latest technology, the 35mm F1.2 DG DN II Art is an exceptional and uncompromising lens. It not only delivers improved optical performance but also achieves greatly enhanced portability with a size reduction of approximately 30%. This improved design provides unparalleled rendering power, high-resolution clarity, and large, beautiful bokeh in a more portable form. Focus breathing has also been effectively minimised, ensuring outstanding results for both still photography and video. This lens strikes a perfect balance of optical performance, brightness, compact size, light weight, and ease of use. This lens is an ideal choice for video professionals, as it's designed to minimise focus breathing. Through optimisation of the focus group and aspherical shape, changes in the field of view are effectively suppressed as you adjust your focus. It also features a dual HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) system, which uses two individual linear motors to drive the focus groups. This system not only guarantees fast, reliable, and quiet autofocusing but also allows for a compact design without sacrificing power. Furthermore, the lens is engineered to minimise flare and ghosting under all lighting conditions, using advanced simulation technology to ensure it delivers clear, sharp images even in strong backlight.
