MecWorma & Tape Allwormer Paste for Horses 32.5g

MecWorma and Tape Allwormer is a highly effective broad-spectrum anthelmintic for horses, achieving up to 100% worm kill, including benzimidazole-resistant strains. It combines two wormers from different classes, abamectin (a macrocyclic lactone) and morantel tartrate (a tetrahydropyrimidine), to provide reliable treatment and control of a wide range of internal parasites.

How MecWorma and Tape Works:

Abamectin and morantel tartrate are both broad-spectrum anthelmintics. In combination, they provide treatment and control of large and small strongyles, tapeworms, cutaneous onchocerciasis and nematodes, including Habronema and Draschia species that cause skin lesions (summer sores).

Presentation:

Oral paste in a dial-a-dose syringe.

Dosage and Administration:

The recommended dose is 5.4 g of paste per 100 kg bodyweight.

• A full syringe (32.5 g) treats a 600 kg horse.
• The plunger is calibrated in 100 kg bodyweight increments, each delivering 5.4 g of paste.

To administer, adjust the locking ring to the required bodyweight setting and depress the plunger. Place the paste on the rear of the tongue and hold the horse’s head raised for a few seconds after dosing to ensure the full dose is swallowed.
