Internally the 110mm f2 lens features a linear AF motor, resulting in fast and quiet AF performance, while the internal focusing mechanism assures the lens will remain as compact as possible throughout operation. Physically the lens is of the fine standard expected of a G-mount addition, dust and weather-sealed to allow for shooting in more difficult environmental conditions.
