Advanced video functionality

These include a new N-RAW file format, which packs 12-bit RAW quality into a files size that is half as large, 12-Bit ProRes RAW HQ, which is the chosen format of professionals, ProRes 422 HQ, and H.265. The Nikon Z8 can provide high-quality 4K footage that is downsampled from 8K, so sharpness and clarity are out of this world, while even the audio quality of your video work is outstanding, thanks to 24-bit/48 kHz audio recording. Hi-Res zoom is available in both Full HD and 4K UHD recording, and it is a feature that allows you to zoom in 2x closer to your subject with the push of a button, while using a Nikon prime lens.

Rugged and powerful, but still portable
