The OM System ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS PRO Lens is a highly versatile super-telephoto lens. As a 150-400mm F4.5, you can create stunning images ranging from high-speed sports photography to ultra-detailed macro shots. Plus with the built-in 1.25x teleconverter, you can achieve up to 500mm (1000mm 35mm equiv.) for incredible, remote photography. Supporting cameras with IBIS the lens has 5-axis Sync Image Stabilisation so that even at that distance every shot is pin-sharp.

Superb optics

The lens has been constructed with a total of 28 elements in 18 groups that consists of large-diameter EDA lenses and Super ED lenses for excellent clarity across the entire zoom range at F4.5. Ghosting and flare have been reduced thanks to the unique Z Coating Nano.

Built-in 1.25x teleconverter

Thanks to the built-in 1.25x teleconverter you can extend the zoom range of the lens up to 500mm (1000mm*) at the flick of a switch shooting at a max of f5.6. It is possible to go even further when paired with the MC-14 Teleconverter for a focal length up to 1400mm* or the MC-20 Teleconverter for up to 2000mm* ‒ all while retaining the high optical performance of the master lens.

Versatile shooting

This is a versatile lens that covers a wide range of shooting styles from super-telephoto to telemacro. Whether your subject is far away or close-up, this lens zooms in close and lets you adjust the focal length to get the shot you have in mind. It has a minimum working distance of 1.3 metres and a magnification of up to 0.36x (0.71x*) and supports Focus Stacking for a fully-in-focus subject.

Image stabilisation

Eliminating camera shake is essential when using super-telephoto lenses and thanks to the high-performance 5-axis Sync IS, the lens can compensate camera shake up to 6 EV steps* when used with a compatible camera. This image stabilisation system enables accurate, clear subject capture at any zoom range during handheld photography. And because it supports you in the field, framing is also much easier.

The lens has a robust and weatherproof build with dustproof/splashproof/freezeproof sealing that complements the heat-resistant body, which reflects infrared sunlight to keep temperatures inside the lens from rising.
