Stauning Bastard Danish Rye Whisky 700ml

This whisky was created from our rye whisky that has matured additionally on Mezcal casks from Mexican producer, Oro de Oaxaca. Mezcal is a traditional Mexican liquor made by distilling the heart of the agave. This whisky has a long sweet, slightly smoky finish with a hint of brown sugar and pepper.

Stauning Whisky started up in a remote village on the West Coast of Denmark, where 9 friends teamed up to create one of Denmark's finest Whisky's. Stauning Whisky is handmade from locally harvested rye and barley, floor- malted at the distillery and double-distilled in small, flame heated open fired pots. Stauning Bastard is winner of a BRONZE at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2020
