Domaine Gueguen Bourgogne Aligote 2021 750ml

If the name of the game is finding great value Burgundy, this is surely a winner. With full malolactic fermentation and five months on lees, it's also a shining example of just how delightful Aligote can be.

The wine saw only stainless steel, which is a lovely complement to its soft texture - full malo and oak would simply have been too much here. So, while there is a rich texture, you'll also find a beautiful line and length.

Honeydew melon, lemons and pear are the focus here, with some fresh brioche too. It would be stunning with fresh seafood but, in all honestly, this is a great wine to sip on it's own in the fresh evening air.
