Bacardi Limon Flavoured Rum 1000ml

Bacardí has been making rum since 1862, when Don Facundo Bacardí Massó set out in Santiago de Cuba to produce a lighter, cleaner spirit than the heavy rums of the day. Limón takes that pale, charcoal filtered house rum and infuses it with citrus.

Three fruits do the work: lemon leads, with lime and grapefruit filling in behind. The nose is fresh and zesty, and the palate opens tart before broadening into softer grapefruit, the rum's own gentle sweetness keeping it from turning sharp. It reads as genuinely citrus driven rather than candied.

The finish is mild and clean with a lingering zest. Made for simple mixing: top it with lemonade or soda, shake it into a citrus daiquiri, or pour it long over ice with cranberry.
