The Dalmore Trio Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

The Dalmore Trio is a Highland single malt that showcases the distillery's celebrated mastery of cask maturation. Drawn from the House of Dalmore on the shores of the Cromarty Firth, it takes its name from the three influences that shape its rich and layered character. The spirit is first matured in ex-bourbon casks before being divided across a combination of first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, tawny Port pipes and Matusalem sherry casks, then brought back together. This interplay of oak and fortified wine gives the whisky its trademark depth, weight and generous fruit. Expect tangy, zesty fruit on the nose, with dried cranberry, orange peel and cherry-laced chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, offering dark berry compote, stewed plum, vanilla, honey and roasted almond, rounded out by fine oak spice and dark cocoa on a long, elegant finish. Presented in a gift box, it makes an impressive centrepiece or a memorable present.
