The Sony FE 135mm f/1.8 GM is a medium-telephoto prime characterised by its bright, sophisticated design. The f/1.8 maximum aperture excels in low-light conditions, offering greater control over depth of field for selective focus techniques. The advanced optical design incorporates two extra-low dispersion elements, including one Super ED element, to minimise chromatic aberrations. Additionally, it features one XA (extreme aspherical) element that effectively controls spherical aberration, resulting in high image sharpness and clarity. A Nano AR coating has also been applied to reduce ghosting and lens flare, thereby increasing contrast and colour fidelity in strong lighting conditions.
