Kavalan 15 Year Old Four Cask 2025 Edition Single Malt Taiwanese Whisky 700ml

Kavalan 15 Year Old marks a milestone for Taiwan's celebrated distillery, standing as its first ever age-statement single malt. Produced in the humid, subtropical climate of Yilan, where whisky matures rapidly and intensely, this Four Cask edition reflects more than a decade of patient ageing in the mountain and sea air of north-eastern Taiwan.

The whisky is brought together from four different cask types: hand-selected ex-bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry casks, ruby port barrels and puncheons. Each contributes its own layer, weaving fruit, spice and sweetness into a harmonious and complex whole.

Expect aromas of caramelised apple, chocolate, walnut and cinnamon, warm baking spice and dried citrus peel. The palate is lively and layered, with bright citrus, dried cranberries and raisins alongside dark chocolate and rich coffee and caramel notes. It closes with delicate citrus and a warming touch of woody spice.
